The FURNISHED PENTHOUSE SUITE with a PRIVATE BATH and lots of sunlight features a queen-size bed, built-in closets, a DEDICATED WORK SPACE (built-in desk + bookcase), a chest of drawers, a small fridge and a microwave.
Limited access to the main kitchen, laundry room, pool.
STREET PARKING right outside the garden entrance.
OASIS IN THE POLITICAL JUNGLE: My home is the perfect escape from DC's crowded and expensive hotel & BnB market, yet close enough for an easy commute to DC: 10min walking distance to the MARC commuter train which takes you to DC's Union Station in 17 minutes ! The picturesque MARC train station is located across the street from Kensington's Antique Row, its gorgeous Victorian-era houses, and a French bookstore, not far from the Mormon temple, and many hiking and biking paths along Beach Drive.
By car, you can drive from Beach Drive and Rock Creek Parkway all the way to downtown DC in 30-40 minutes.
CONVENIENT LOCATION, PERFECT FOR NATURE LOVERS: My home is located in a lusciously green neighborhood with tall old trees and excellent access to major commuter highways and public transportation: Ride-On bus stop at the curb, 10 min WALK to the MARC commuter train and Connecticut Avenue, 15-20 min WALK to several METRO stations on the red line; 10-15 min.
DRIVE to NIH, Walter Reed, Medical Center, Bethesda, Strathmore Music Center, Georgetown Prep, several METRO stations on both sides of the red line, I-495, Rockville Pike, I-270, and Beach Drive/Rock Creek Parkway.
