The apartment has one bedroom with queen sized bed, a full bathroom and a separate living room with a comfy queen-sized sofa bed.
There is a SmartTV with cable in each room.
High speed Wireless INTERNET.
In the living room there is a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, 2 electric burners, toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker, crock pot, etc.
- everything you need to prepare light meals.
You have use of a washer and dryer on the second floor of the house.
Pets accepted on a case by case basis.
I have a dog and two cats (and often foster kittens) in the main house.
No smoking of anything anywhere on the property.
LOCATION On a tree-lined residential street, but only half-block from Columbia Heights Metro station, (Yellow/Green line) it is only 5 stops (7-10 minutes) to Smithsonian museums, US Capitol, Convention Center, Zoo.
There is a free shuttle bus to Washington Hospital Center, a Circulator bus stop and a Capital Bikeshare station on the corner.
Within two blocks you can enjoy dozens of restaurants and cafes, neighborhood pubs, coffee shops, grocery store, CVS drugstore and shopping center with Target; Marshals, DSW, Lidel grocery store.
Other neighborhoods with similar vibrant nightlife & restaurants - Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle, Mount Pleasant; U st - are an easy 15-20 minute walk, or one subway stop away.
I provide a permit for free street parking.
