At Wegmans, our Dairy department houses essential products our customers need.
In the role of Dairy Manager, you’ll use strong managerial and leadership skills to ensure the overall success of the department.
With a keen eye for merchandising and a passion for putting out the best products, you’ll be responsible for everything from department financials to product levels to employee development, working to meet customer and store needs.
What will I do?
Oversee department operations which includes sales and contribution; share company vision and meet goals; delegate tasks and supervise team to maximize efficiency
Manage performance and develop employees; provide resources, training and development opportunities
Assist customers and work hands-on with employees, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge to provide incredible service to our customers
Use knowledge of product, perishability, benchmarking and trends to plan, implement and create innovative displays
Required Qualifications:
1 or more years of experience leading a team
Computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
A college degree
Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant products
